De vacature:

This role is a home office based sales driven technical role with heavy use of conference tools. The Sales Engineer is responsible to provide technical solutions to new & existing customers and business partners on IT security solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you combine excellent sales and technical skills with strong technical knowledge to provide advice and support on security technology. You will drive the technical pitch and Proof of Concept by understanding the customer’s technical requirement and their internal infrastructures. You make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client and partner needs. You are responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales technical process with direct customers and business partners. You must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.

Functie eisen:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a sales engineer role
• Basic knowledge in Network Access Control (802.1), PKI, OpenSSL, Microsoft Domain Service including Active Directory, AD Certificate Service and NDES
• Basic knowledge in Mobile Device Management and the deployment of certificate to mobile devices
• Good knowledge in Network Monitoring, network design, segmentation with VLANs and routing
• Fluent in German and English
• Excellent technical presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to customers, business partners and to Soliton European HQ office in Amsterdam

• On target bonus: € 25K
• OTE: € 90K - € 100K
